Practice makes perfect!

If you knew my daughter at all, you would know that she's not the most photogenic person. So when I asked her to be my "guinea pig" a couple months ago so I could try out my new prime lens (50mm f/1.8) I didn't really expect anything great to come out of it. But, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm still figuring what how to use this lens to its fullest potential. And I keep telling myself...Practice makes perfect! Take a look at what we came up with. I don't know how you spent your St. Patty's day, but Chad and I had the pleasure of spending it with a great couple in downtown Nashville. Chad knows Jessica's mom from work, and she asked us to take some pics of her daughter and soon to be son-in-law. We had the best time with them!! And when the weather didn't hold out, we stepped inside for a drink. The best way to kill time on a rainy St. Patty's day if you ask me :)

We want to thank Jessica and Jared for allowing us to spend this time with them. They had limited time together that weekend, and we were honored that they choose to spend a few of their precious hours together, with us. Thank you. I hope you love these as much as we do!!!
